This is one of the oldest cities in the central part of India and offers a diverse range of destinations and places to visit and undoubtedly one of the best ways to explore is on foot with a local guide and storyteller like me. Chatrapati Sambhajinager (Aurangabad) is the city of gates The city had witnessed many names like Chatrapati Sambahjinager, Aurangabad, Khadki, Fatehnamger and Rajtadag is the headquarters of the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India. This tour offers you to walk and drive through/the old and new parts of the city, visit to some of the places of worship, different bazaars and markets, taste local food, architectural monuments, life and culture of locals, its arts and crafts, Himroo hand weaving, local handicrafts, exotic gems, shawls, and of course, the region's famous paithani silk sarees.

The ideal time: 10 AM or at 4 PM. From the pick-up point to the downtown market by car. Walk through the busy market, narrow lanes, and visit to few places of interest. After the walk, we go to visit Bibi ka Maqkara (replica of the Taj Mahal), Panchakki (water mill), Aurangabad cave, passing by some of the gates in the city like Makai gate, Bhadkal, Delhi gate, etc, and visit local hand weaving center for Himroo silk and Paithani Sarees. end the tour with the taste of local food and dropped at the point.
