Hello, Welcome to Aurangabad !! My name is Tajinder S Gulati, and I am a native of Aurangabad. I have lived here most of my life. I work as a Tour guide (Platinum card holder) approved by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Government of India and have over three decades experience of guiding tourists around the world famous World Heritage Monuments of Ajanta & Ellora caves. I am a Masters in Business Administration and have gone through extensive Guides' Training Program conducted by the Department of Tourism, Government of India. I have consistently given services to renowned Travel Companies and I am also on the shortlisting panel of guides for the prestigious and luxurious Train. I love traveling and am well traveled in India and abroad. I love to interact with my travelers on various subjects of History, Culture, Traditions, Religion, Art, Crafts and many more. My hobbies are traveling, watching movies & interaction with people from around the world. Apart from the Ajanta and Ellora caves, which I love to show and guide, I also intimately know Aurangabad as a city and can help you explore it like a local. As a tourist in India you would have explored the bigger cities and their monuments. As a local Aurangabadian, I can help you not only absorb the history and beauty of the centuries-old Ajanta and Ellora caves, but I can also help you understand the culture and life of a satellite city of India. If you look at my picture, you can see that I am wearing a turban. This turban has a story to tell. This represents the fact that I belong to the Sikh community and religion. The turban represents spirituality, honor, piety, and courage. I can share with you much more about this if you are interested. If you choose me to be your guide, rest assured, that you will get to know my city and the monuments in a way that will be memorable. Look forward to meeting you and showing you around Tajinder Licensed and Approved, Incredible India TouristGuide - Department of Tourism, Government of India. Overview of your Aurangabad tour

Beginning from the 2nd Century B. C. and continuing into the 6th century A. D. the paintings and sculptures in the caves of Ajanta, inspired by Buddhism and its compassionate ethos, unleashed a surge of artistic excellence unmatched in human history. Ajanta is among the finest examples of some of the earliest Buddhist architecture, cave paintings, and sculptures. These caves comprise Chaitya halls or shrines, dedicated to Lord Buddha and Viharas or monasteries, used by Buddhist monks for meditation and the study of Buddhist teachings. The paintings that adorn the walls and ceilings of the caves depict incidents from the life of Lord Buddha and various Buddhist divinities. Among the most interesting paintings are the Jataka tales, illustrating diverse stories relating to the previous incarnations of the Buddha as Bodhisattva, a saintly being who is destined to become the Buddha. These elaborate sculptures and paintings stand in impressive grandeur in spite of withstanding the ravages of time.

Taijander Singh is an excellent guide in Aurangabad! He is courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always smiling. He gave our family a wonderful overview of Aurangabad, Ajanta, and Ellora, and shared so much interesting information about the history and significance of these incredible places. He went above and beyond to make our family of seven comfortable throughout the trip. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us back off at the airport, recommended clean and good places for food, and took extra-special care of us at every step. One thing we especially appreciated was how thoughtfully he took family photos for us at all the strategic and scenic points. The pictures turned out excellent and will be wonderful memories for our family. Taijander truly made our experience special. We highly recommend him to our family and friends, and if we ever return to Aurangabad, we would definitely choose him again. Thank you, Taijander, for your exceptional service and for making our trip so memorable!

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a tour of the Ajanta and Ellora Caves with Tajinder, and I can confidently say that it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to India. Tajinder's professionalism, expert knowledge, and genuine kindness made the tour truly exceptional. Tajinder's enthusiasm for the caves was infectious and his deep understanding of the history, art, and cultural significance of these ancient sites was evident in his explanations. He was able to bring the caves to life, sharing fascinating stories and insights that enriched our experience. Tajinder went out of his way to make sure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. If you're planning a visit to the Ajanta and Ellora Caves, I cannot recommend Tajinder highly enough.

Tajinder made my tour to Ajanta Caves seamless. We discussed the plans before I arrived, then he customized the arrangement to save me even more money as I travel alone. He picked me up at the airport with packed sandwich for my breakfast as I arrived early. He was also thoughtful in selecting a restaurant that catered to my preferences. Tajinder has been very helpful in explaining the history (which I kept on asking over and over again) and taking photographs of me. He made the visit even more wonderful.

The best. Tajinder is a great educator and a patient guide, answering all questions even they may repeat something he had already explained. A good sense of humor. An encyclopedic expert on the magnificent Ajanta monasteries and shrines. Greeted by all the other guides. Was selected to guide nine of the international delegates to the recent G20. How lucky to spend a day with Tajinder and to learn about the history of the amazing carvings and tempura-style paintings and the legendary stories they depict

This is a fantastic tour. Tajinder is super knowledgeable and is also a very nice guide. Ajanta is an amazing site; not to be missed if you are in this part of India. Tajinder provides a great car and safe driver. There is plenty of time for photos, to ask questions and of course time to a stop for lunch. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

We spent two wonderful days with Mr. Gulati, exploring the Ellora and Ajanta caves, as well as the Daulatabad Fort. He worked with us in advance of the tour to exchange ideas and to customize our experience. He was prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable, and he took great care to ensure that all of our needs were met, with thoughtful attention to every detail. We also had a lot of fun chatting and getting to know one another as we went about our full-day tours. Our driver, Ganesh, was excellent
