Hello, Welcome to Aurangabad !! My name is Tajinder S Gulati, and I am a native of Aurangabad. I have lived here most of my life. I work as a Tour guide (Platinum card holder) approved by the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, Government of India and have over three decades experience of guiding tourists around the world famous World Heritage Monuments of Ajanta & Ellora caves. I am a Masters in Business Administration and have gone through extensive Guides' Training Program conducted by the Department of Tourism, Government of India. I have consistently given services to renowned Travel Companies and I am also on the shortlisting panel of guides for the prestigious and luxurious Train. I love traveling and am well traveled in India and abroad. I love to interact with my travelers on various subjects of History, Culture, Traditions, Religion, Art, Crafts and many more. My hobbies are traveling, watching movies & interaction with people from around the world. Apart from the Ajanta and Ellora caves, which I love to show and guide, I also intimately know Aurangabad as a city and can help you explore it like a local. As a tourist in India you would have explored the bigger cities and their monuments. As a local Aurangabadian, I can help you not only absorb the history and beauty of the centuries-old Ajanta and Ellora caves, but I can also help you understand the culture and life of a satellite city of India. If you look at my picture, you can see that I am wearing a turban. This turban has a story to tell. This represents the fact that I belong to the Sikh community and religion. The turban represents spirituality, honor, piety, and courage. I can share with you much more about this if you are interested. If you choose me to be your guide, rest assured, that you will get to know my city and the monuments in a way that will be memorable. Look forward to meeting you and showing you around Tajinder Licensed and Approved, Incredible India TouristGuide - Department of Tourism, Government of India. Beginning from the 2nd Century B. C. and continuing into the 6th century A. D. the paintings and sculptures in the caves of Ajanta, inspired by Buddhism and its compassionate ethos, unleashed a surge of artistic excellence unmatched in human history. Ajanta is among the finest examples of some of the earliest Buddhist architecture, cave paintings, and sculptures. These caves comprise Chaitya halls or shrines, dedicated to Lord Buddha and Viharas or monasteries, used by Buddhist monks for meditation and the study of Buddhist teachings. The paintings that adorn the walls and ceilings of the caves depict incidents from the life of Lord Buddha and various Buddhist divinities. Among the most interesting paintings are the Jataka tales, illustrating diverse stories relating to the previous incarnations of the Buddha as Bodhisattva, a saintly being who is destined to become the Buddha. These elaborate sculptures and paintings stand in impressive grandeur in spite of withstanding the ravages of time.

For a group of 1 to 4 people, I use only Toyota Crysta or similar as they are clean, modern, air-conditioned with sufficient legroom and space for people of height and girth and good ground clearance to give you a smooth ride. I also have different options for larger groups which come at a higher cost. Contact me for a quote.
