Hi, I'm Natalie, a history nerd and former architect now working as a full-time tour guide in Berlin. After working as an architect in Australia for several years I decided to take a break one summer to explore Berlin, and I never left. My goal: My goal as your guide is to bring Berlin's history to life and show you new ways of seeing the city. I combine historical storytelling with architecture, because I believe that history is written in the buildings, and I hope to inspire you to love Berlin as much as I do! What I offer: I'm always out exploring Berlin, looking for new galleries, cafes, buildings and memorials, so put on your comfiest shoes and let's explore together! I specialise in history and architecture tours, and also offer tours to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and Potsdam. Tours for younger visitors: I welcome visitors of all ages on my tours and have crafted a family-friendly tour of Berlin, designed to keep everyone engaged, whether you're 8 or 80. Making Berlin's complex and occasionally difficult history accessible to everyone is important to me, and a private family tour offers plenty of opportunities to ask all your questions. Why book a tour with me? All tours are 100% customisable. Got questions? Ask them! On a private tour you'll have my full attention and support. A digital map with curated recommendations for other things to see and do in Berlin after the tour. Walking or private car tours.

Let's jump right in. If you're planning a trip to Berlin you'll know that there is so much to see in this incredible city. Not only was Berlin the centre of Nazi Germany, it was then split in two as a result of the Cold War (causing President Reagan to boldly declare: 'Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!' some 26 years after the wall went up). I'm here to help you navigate this vast and complex history, so you can make the most of your visit. On this express tour we will visit the most important sites and learn about the history with engaging stories - it's the perfect introduction to Berlin and will give you a good understanding to help you continue your adventure. During the tour I'll be sure to provide you with recommendations of other things to see, do and eat (all my favourite spots), and I can customize this tour according to your requests.
- Meet me in Pariser Platz in front of the Brandenburg Gate Visitor Information Centre. - Learn about the Brandenburg Gate - See the Reichstag Building - Explore the Holocaust Memorial - Visit the site of Hitler's Bunker - Learn about the 1953 Uprising - Marvel at the Berlin Wall - Finish at Checkpoint Charlie
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
