Potsdam with a guide and driver - Day Trip from Berlin

Comprehensive tour of Potsdam. A lot of great information and the driver was amazing! Ended up doing some bonus Berlin sites at the end.

Hilke is an excellent guide. She was well-prepared, professional, and flexible. By sharing her extensive knowledge, she "brought to life" the historically significant sites we visited. She made sure my specific tour requests were covered, and it was a joy to spend the day with her.

Hilke was a charming host who made it possible for me and my siblings to revisit our home, the liaison mission house, schools, and sites we remembered from our dad's assignment to Berlin in the 1960s. We are so grateful for this custom-designed tour. Hike was truly interested in our stories. Her research added delightful details as we visited historical sites in the area.

An unforgettable experience. Hilke is both friendly and knowledgeable. Our day began when she promply picked us up at our hotel. Our very comfortable car and driver were waiting outside. We went over the itinerary, including a stop at Wannsee House that we had arranged by email. The day proceeded with Hilke providing historical information throughout. We had time at the end of the day to see some sights in Berlin that were in addition to the description of the tour. We highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of spending almost two days with Hilke in October touring both Berlin and Potsdam. We found Hilke to be both warm and accommodating as she shared her vast knowledge and enthusiasm of both cities with us. Given that I have a severe hearing loss I was particularly appreciative of her special attention given to me to make sure I could understand and see her face at all times. This made the difference for me and enhanced my experience to the fullest.

We five spent two full days with Hilke--Berlin and Potsdam. I don't know how we could have had a more informative, useful, enjoyable experience! We covered a lot of ground in a relatively short amount of time. I am reluctant to say she was "the best" TBL guide we have ever had, because they have all been excellent. However, she was A+, a 100 on a scale of 100 and we would recommend her to others without hesitation!
