I've been taking people up the Zugspitze by foot, by train, by tram, and on skis for over 25 years. Now I want to combine my photography skills to give you the most amazing photo walk.

At 127 meters, (over 40 stories), the new lift tower dwarfs the two old ones. It's record breaking!

Three Lakes and Alpine Vistas - Hiking Day Trip from Garmisch

Hike like a local with me on this circuit tour near Garmisch that takes us past three lakes and treats us to amazing views of the Wetterstein and Karwendel Mountains. The vistas of the mountains against the backdrop of the lakes are a memory to be cherished forever! With all the hiking and the fresh air, you'll surely get hungry, too. So we'll find a cosy picknick spot and enjoy some Bavarian sandwiches.

Why did people back in the day think it necessary to calm the lakes with sermons and sacrifices? You will find out on this tour and will learn about the culture of the region and of course the geology of the mountains. Let's leave the beaten track and go where the locals go.

I love Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It is my home and source of constant inspiration. I would love to take you to my favorite beer garden to discuss the birth of the Freicorps while enjoying a beverage then wander through town to see the paintings on the buildings and my favorite chocolate shop.

A Home Cooked Meal and Bavarian Cooking Course at my House

Let my family and I take you on a culinary journey at our home in the village of Ohlstadt. After picking you up at the local train station my daughters and I will walk you through the village giving you a short tour of the whetstone production, bobsledding, and World War II history of this unique village at the entrance to the Alps. Then it's to our house where my wife will teach you how to make Pretzels, Obazda cheese, Brotzeit, and more. While you snack on your freshly backed pretzels and cheese we will prepare the kitchen so that together we can create Jägerschnitzel with Bratkartoffeln. After your home cooked meal a schnapps is in order before bringing you back to the train station for your short 20 minute ride to Garmisch or 45 minute ride to Munich.

Mountaintop Portrait Session "Bayerische Frühstück"

This is a truly incredible place for a professional photo shoot. It has been to the venue for countless fashion shoots here in southern Germany, and a popular location for many full-length movies. It is truly a world class venue and one of the most stunning places in the Alps.
We ride the 'Eckbauerbahn' gondola, first built in 1956 and renovated in 2017.
On the way up we'll enjoy a traditional "Bavarian Breakfast" in the Gondola! It consist of Munich 'Weisswurst', (Bavarian white sausages), a Pretzel and a Weizen Beer, (Or beverage of choice). You also get a greeting Schnapps, in a souvenir glass you can keep!
Once at the top, we have several locations to shoot, all with dramatic rock walls surrounding us. There are restrooms, a restaurant, and a playground on top. Oh, and amazing views!

We'll hike downhill from the sheer cliffs of the Alpspitze, to the historic 'Zoepritzhaus'.
Rain or shine, this photo hike has so much to offer the photographer of any experience.
Along the way, I will give you tips and feedback on how to get the best shot, angles to look for and overall Landscape Photography techniques.

We'll take a cable car up, and a different one back down to the starting point.

The favorite castle of Ludwig the II will delight and intrigue as we wander the grounds discussing the mysterious death of Ludwig along with the history of Germany itself. After your guided tour of the interior we leisurely make our way to the village of Oberammergau for lunch and sight-seeing before taking in the beauty that is the Ettal Monastery, a 14th Century Benedictine Cloister.
