Cold War in Berlin - Half-Day Experience

There's no city in Europe more influenced by the Cold War between the US and the USSR other than Berlin. As soon as Nazi Germany was defeated, the previously cooperative "Allied Forces " quickly turned against each other, in a race to secure their different political and economic interests in Europe. Germany, and especially Berlin, served the grounds for the most historically remembered events - starting from the division of Germany through the division of Berlin itself, the construction of the Berlin wall in 1961, and the end of the Wall - correlating with the end of the Communist Block throughout eastern Europe. In this History-focused private walking tour, we follow the chain of events leading to the Cold War and track its traces in Berlin.
