Hello! My name is Lea, Split is my hometown and I'm a licensed tour guide for Split, Dubrovnik and Šibenik county, in English, French and Spanish language. I was born in Split, I have been living here for more than 20 years and I'm passionate about sharing its beauty and culture! I got my Master's degree in Marketing, at the Faculty of Economics here in Split. Following my university studies, I moved to Barcelona to do an internship before returning back to Split. I have always enjoyed learning languages, travelling and experiencing different cultures. Soon after graduation I realised that an office job doesn't suit me and I started to work as a tour guide, which was the best decision I have ever made! When I'm not tour guiding, I love to learn languages - I can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Yoga is also one of my passions, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) by International Yoga Alliance. Local gastronomy has always interested me, so I decided to do a course for a wine consultant to get to know more about the rich wine history in Croatia. In my free time, I love long walks with my dog and reading books. I absolutely love my job and cannot wait to share with you all the beauties that the city of Split and the region of Dalmatia have to offer! Overview of your Split tour
The Plitvice Lakes National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Croatia, famous for its numerous turquoise-coloured lakes separated by travertine barriers that formed magnificent waterfalls. This glorious national park, which covers almost 30, 000 hectares, is situated in the lower elevations of the Dinarides in the central part of the country. It was also granted the UNESCO heritage site status, way back in 1979. Walking around those lakes that change their colour depending on the season, time of the day and sunshine, with the constant calming sounds of waterfalls, is a fairytale-like experience. I am a huge nature lover, but I would recommend visiting this stunning place even to those who prefer city tours. I am sure you will enjoy chasing waterfalls on Plitvice!
