Hello everyone! Dobrodošli/Welcome! My name is Kristina, but you can call me Kris ;) . . . I hope to be your guide during your visit to my beautiful country. I am a tour guide with many years of experience in the travel industry and with even more years of experience in simply showing my family, friends, friends of friends and former business partners beauties and hidden secrets of Dalmatia - a coastal region of Croatia with beautiful sea, beaches, food, wine, historical places and countryside. . . a place I call - HOME . . . I was doing it for fun at first and/or as a favor until one day I realized. . . I should make this my permanent job. . . and so I did! I try to put my love for reading and history into good use and bring you a bit closer our tumultuous history and all the characters that played big part in it. With history, I believe it's important to explore even some less known facts and sights, while still enjoying little local curiosities and stories. As I've lived some time abroad, and am also a passionate traveller, I try to give my guests the same experience I often strive to and therefore I hope not only to guide you around my country but help you make valuable memories to last a lifetime. . . or at least until you visit again! ;) Besides history, my second love is food :)) …I'm actually a huge foodie and love to both cook and eat. . . therefore if you need recommendations for local restaurants, feel free to let me know and I'll show you my favorite spots. We will explore two gems of Dalmatian region - Split and Trogir. Both cities have to offer a lot of history, culture and heritage, but are also known for many legends and love stories throughout time. And both cities shaped me into who I am today. Split, my hometown. . . and Trogir, place from which I have many interesting memories, as my grandparents were and still are living nearby. First we'll walk the streets of Trogir, I will share the story of the rich history of this UNESCO protected town. Greek, Roman, Venetian history on a small island connected to another one makes this place truly unique. The famous Cathedral of St Lawrence, remains of city walls, many palaces and forts are just some of the things that will impress you on this tour of Trogir. In Split you wil be introduced to Diocletian's palace. The only palace in the world where people are still living inside. Together we will walk through many small hidden streets and corners while soaking in the atmosphere of a Roman age masterpiece.
Excellent tour of Split and Trogir with Kristina. Very personable, excellent English, and seemingly endless knowledge of the area and its history. She was a pleasure to be with, full of enthusiasm for her home country and what this area has to offer. I recommend her without hesitation.

Our tour with Kristina was wonderful from beginning to end. We were a group of two adults and a teenager and Kristina made it fun and interesting for us all. The tour helped us better understand the history and culture in the region and was the perfect start to our visit here. Kristina provided some thoughtful touches that made the tour feel special. She also gave us some great suggestions of additional things to do during our trip and made excellent restaurant recommendations. We highly recommend Kristina!
We had the most amazing day touring Trogir and Split with Kristina. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. Kristina was so engaging and made the trip fun and super informative. Definitely recommend her for an interesting and informative excursion.
A schedule modification by the ship had me in a panic. I contacted Kristina at the last minute and she modified our plans so we saw everything, albeit on a shorter schedule. AlI I can say is WOW! Kristina is very personable and knowledgeable guide.

- Pick up In the port, outside the main gates - Drive appx. 30-40mins towards the town of Trogir - Guided walking tour of Trogir - Some free time - Drive back to Split -Walking tour of Split -Optional free time for lunch (I can recommend some local spots) -Drop off at the port *Itinerary can be reversed due to weather or traffic conditions. In that case we'll do Split tour first and Trogir second with optional time for lunch in Trogir. *Cathedrals are usually closed on Sundays and/or some holidays. In that case we will substitute with Substructure tickets in Split. *Customization of this tour is possible - just let me know.
