Overview of your Split tour:

Why is Trogir often called "little Venice" and what makes this small town one of the most visited UNESCO sites in Croatia? As we walk the streets dating back to the Hellenistic period, you will realize how remarkable the urban continuity of this place is. Beautiful Romanesque churches, Renaissance and Baroque buildings, as well as impressive fortifications from the Venetian times - centuries will simply roll under your feet and in front of your eyes! After Trogir, we will continue with the Roman heritage of my hometown Split, most famous for the Diocletian's Palace (305 AD), the so called "Palace of Sun". Did you know that the Roman architects projected the palace calculating the movement of the Sun in relation to the latitude of Split? It is actually the light that makes this antique building so impressive - so choose the day's time of your tour wisely :)
