Dear visitors, my name is Darko, I've been in love with Croatia since the first day of my life and my goal is to pass that love to You. I was born and raised in Split, pearl of the Mediterranean sea and since forever I am fascinated by history, culture and nature. At the beginning of my career I worked in Croatian national theater and in Split city museum as an official tour guide and that experience with knowledge I got from my older colleagues helped me a lot and gave me a big impulse in becoming freelancer. Today my full time job is producer of cultural events but my true passion is tour guiding. As I am scuba diver, hiker and big fan of football, I incorporate all those hobbies and knowledge in my tours. Darko was a great guide! So knowledgeable of all the history of the area--loved seeing a Roman amphitheater that was not in Rome as well as where the Game of Throne was filmed. As an added bonus he provided us with a drone video of us taken at several of the historical ruins!!

Your Split tour itinerary
We will meet at the meeting point convenient to you and drive to the Salona and Roman Amphitheater. Walk around Salona for an hour and after hearing about amazing historical facts we will continue to beautiful fortress Klis - defending area between the mountains. Finally, we will go to the capital of this area Split - Diocletian's palace and the medieval area. Tour takes a total of approximately five hours.
