Welcome to southern Croatia, to the region of Dalmatia, a land of clear blue sea, countless rocky islands, and a strong Mediterranean spirit. Born and raised on the Adriatic coast, I have spent my life exploring the landscapes, history, and traditions of Dalmatia. From prehistoric caves hidden in the karst mountains to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Diocletian’s Palace in Split, this is a place I know not only through study, but through everyday life. As your guide, I offer more than a standard tour. I aim to present Dalmatia as it truly is, through its history, culture, landscapes, and the traditions that still shape local life today. Together we can walk through Split’s ancient streets, once part of a Roman imperial residence, or explore the nearby coast and islands where the rhythm of life remains closely tied to the sea and stone. Dalmatia is a place of stunning natural beauty—karst rivers carving deep canyons, waterfalls cascading into emerald pools, and a breathtaking coastline shaped by centuries of wind and waves. Add to that a mild Mediterranean climate, and you have the perfect setting for unforgettable adventures. Working in such surroundings makes my job as a tour guide not just easier, but truly rewarding. I feel a strong connection to the place where I come from. Yet I believe that truly understanding a region requires constant learning and curiosity. For that reason, I dedicate much of my time to studying history, natural sciences, and marine biology. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the landscapes and the sea of Dalmatia, which led me to write, teach, and conduct research in marine biology, always with a focus on sustainability and the relationship between people and nature. Becoming a guide has allowed me to bring these interests together, history, nature, storytelling, and genuine human connection. Guiding is not simply about showing places, but about sharing context and helping visitors understand how this region has evolved through time. What I value most are the conversations, curiosity, and shared moments that emerge while exploring Dalmatia together. If you are looking for an experience that goes beyond the surface and offers a deeper sense of place, I would be glad to guide you through it. * Licensed tourist guide for Split-Dalmatia County and Sibenik-Knin County * University degree and an active researcher in the field of Marine Biology * Driver's Licence (B)

The Krka National Park's waterfalls attract more and more visitors each year due to their stunning beauty, location, and significant historical importance. The area is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka River. I will guide you along a wooden walkway over the crystal-clear river, where you can see many fish and enjoy the shade of the forest. The park has a rich history, having once hosted numerous mills, some of which still operate today. At the end of the 19th century, Šibenik became the first town in Europe to receive electricity from a hydroelectric power plant built near the waterfalls. It was first mentioned under its current name in 1066. The central church in Šibenik, the Cathedral of St James, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Several successive architects constructed it entirely from stone between 1431 and 1536, incorporating both Gothic and Renaissance styles.
This is our plan for the day, but I can customize the tour to fit your wishes: - Driving to Krka - freeway - Walking the national park - Skradinski Buk area - Walking Šibenik old town - Driving back on scenic coastal road
