Welcome to southern Croatia, to the region of Dalmatia, a land of clear blue sea, countless rocky islands, and a strong Mediterranean spirit. Born and raised on the Adriatic coast, I have spent my life exploring the landscapes, history, and traditions of Dalmatia. From prehistoric caves hidden in the karst mountains to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Diocletian’s Palace in Split, this is a place I know not only through study, but through everyday life. As your guide, I offer more than a standard tour. I aim to present Dalmatia as it truly is, through its history, culture, landscapes, and the traditions that still shape local life today. Together we can walk through Split’s ancient streets, once part of a Roman imperial residence, or explore the nearby coast and islands where the rhythm of life remains closely tied to the sea and stone. Dalmatia is a place of stunning natural beauty—karst rivers carving deep canyons, waterfalls cascading into emerald pools, and a breathtaking coastline shaped by centuries of wind and waves. Add to that a mild Mediterranean climate, and you have the perfect setting for unforgettable adventures. Working in such surroundings makes my job as a tour guide not just easier, but truly rewarding. I feel a strong connection to the place where I come from. Yet I believe that truly understanding a region requires constant learning and curiosity. For that reason, I dedicate much of my time to studying history, natural sciences, and marine biology. Since childhood, I have been fascinated by the landscapes and the sea of Dalmatia, which led me to write, teach, and conduct research in marine biology, always with a focus on sustainability and the relationship between people and nature. Becoming a guide has allowed me to bring these interests together, history, nature, storytelling, and genuine human connection. Guiding is not simply about showing places, but about sharing context and helping visitors understand how this region has evolved through time. What I value most are the conversations, curiosity, and shared moments that emerge while exploring Dalmatia together. If you are looking for an experience that goes beyond the surface and offers a deeper sense of place, I would be glad to guide you through it. * Licensed tourist guide for Split-Dalmatia County and Sibenik-Knin County * University degree and an active researcher in the field of Marine Biology * Driver's Licence (B)

Last few years I've been doing a lot of Jewish tours, organized by the small Jewish community in Split. This community is very proud of its turbulent history and struggles to preserve the heritage and the presence of its population in our city. You will meet one of the members of the Jewish community in Split's synagogue, today the third oldest active synagogue in the world, built in 1510, by Sephardic refugees from Spain. In less than 3 hours I will tel you all about the history of Split and at the same time enjoy walking the charming streets of Diocletian's palace. In the Roman period, Split became the Emperor residence, later the place of admiration. By walking the streets of Diocletian's palace you will hear all about this great emperor, why did he build the palace in Split and why the palace turned from the place of Roman admiration to a medieval town. The Jewish population in Split was here since the Roman period.
This is a suggested itinerary and I can create a customized tour to fit your preferences. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: - Visiting Jewish heritage sites (old cemetery, Synagogue, graffiti from the 7th century. ) Open hours of the Synagogue: 10 am - 2 pm - Panoramic view from Marjan hill. The hill is completely surrounded by the city and the sea, making it a unique sight. - Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian. You will be amazed by seeing the largest and best-preserved example of Roman palatial architecture. - Back to the place of your choice near the Old City
