We spent a day and a half touring with Andres. On the first half day, Andres met us at the airport, helped us get checked in at our hotel in Puerto Varas, and then took us on a driving tour along the lake to the charming town of Frutillar. That was a great start for the next very full day. For the full day, we visited the amazing volcano, beautiful waterfalls, many scenic overlooks, parks, and viewpoints. Andres did not hesitate to add to or modify our activities. We felt very well cared for, our itinerary was tailored to accommodate mobility limitations and preferences, and we greatly appreciated the personal guiding and adjustable pace. He educated us on history, the intricacies of required voting - which was happening that day - and many other interesting facts. He was also very helpful to suggest where to dine and other activities. We would not hesitate to book with Andres again.

Overview of your Puerto Montt tour
We'll depart from the Pier or your Hotel and travel through to the skirts of Volcano Osorno or "Pirepillán" in Mapuche language. This National Park is part of the Temperate Rain forests of the Austral Andes and it was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO In 2007. Our excursion takes us along the skirt of the volcano, where we will enjoy the native plant there. Hiking around this place. We'll continue to visit the "Green lagoon", area where is located a great forest, where we may see the glacial run-off from the volcano's slopes and face the recently erupted Calbuco volcano from this point. *Hike according weather conditions at the volcano Osorno. After that, we will go to the Petrohué waterfall area (hiking around) and after that, we'll visit the Lake Todos Los Santos. During the excursion we'll learn about native forest and birds. This excursion is timing 6-7 hours at normal conditions (5 Miles/8 Km total hike). **This tour is priced for a group of 4. Please inquire if you have a larger group. **

We were a party of four arriving by Oceania cruise ship. Andres promptly met us at the cruise port and we set out for our tour. We headed to Llanquihue Lake, huge and beautiful, then on to visiting Osorno Volcano including hiking around the Petrohue Falls and visiting All Saints Lake. The area was spectular especially when the clouds broke and we were able to see Osorno. Andres was knowledgeable, very pleasant and did a great job showing us the sites around Puerto Montt. We would highly recommend.

A really excellent tour. Andres has an extensive knowledge of the region including natural history. He very ably answered our many questions regarding the plants and birds which we observed along the trails.. In addition we learnt a great deal about the landscape, it's history and its people. We highly recommend Andres as a guide.
