Registered guide at SERNATUR (National Tourism Service of Chile). Degree in Environmental Analysis with a focus on environmental journalism since 1997. InterestsBirdwatching enthusiast, certified by the Ornithological Association of the Plata (1999). Completed courses on Animal Behavior and studied Italian at Dante Alighieri, San Miguel de Tucumán (2016). Volunteer ExperienceVolunteered at the GUIRA OGA Bird Sanctuary in Misiones and at Loitokitok School in Kenya. Guiding Experience: I’ve guided in renowned parks such as Torres del Paine and Vicente Pérez Rosales, among many other spectacular destinations. Memorable Adventures: I’ve had the privilege of summiting Mount Kilimanjaro and Toubkal, trekking the High Inca Trail in Peru, exploring the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, and my favorite, the W Trek in Torres del Paine. I’ve also participated in two-week horse riding expeditions between Chile and Argentina. Begin the walk at 300 meters (984 feet) above sea leve at the shore of Río Blanco. The trail starts to ascend the Volcano Calbuco going through the last lahar of the eruption in 2015. • Your guide will explain how this happened and why. Truly brutal landscape just in front of us going deeper into the millenary woods. • 1, 30 hs walk among silence and the song of birds A good spot for birdwatching in Puerto Montt . •Reach view point where we can have some lunch and enjoy a rest with the Calbuco Volcano in front of us. •Continue uphill for 1. 45 hs the hike enters the forest with ancient Alerces into a steep trail covered of green and lush rain forest species. Reach the Mountain Hut. •Return back the same path back to the Vehicle. The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences
