Day-tour to Osorno Volcano, Petrohue Falls

We had an amazing day with Miguel. We were a group of 7 friends and we all can’t say enough good things about Miguel and our day with him. He was on time and so friendly and personable. It was evident to us how much he loved his job as a tour guide and how much he loves Chile. The highlight of the tour was hiking Orsono Volcano. We requested that he drive us to a Starbucks because some of us collect the mugs. The visit to Starbucks was a first for Miguel and it made us all so happy to see how much fun he had doing so. We had an awesome day at Puerto Montt with Miguel. We arrived late due to slow operations of the tender boats, but Miguel waited us very patiently. We were impressed by how knowledgeable he is about the area, the passion he has about his hometown and his job. The weather was not good the day we visited, but Miguel managed to take us to the waterfall and volcano and made the entire time enjoyable. He is also very friendly with our kid, we were lucky to find him. Highly recommend Miguel!

Miguel did a wonderful job of making the day delightful. We went to the waterfall and had time to hike around. The big tours didn't get to explore. He took us up to the Volcano and down into the town for a special lunch at one of his favoriteplaces, Donde El Gorditos, where he called ahead to order delicious plates to share. He has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area and its people. We highly recommend this personalized tour!

Miguel was one of the best guides ever after taking over 100 private tours. He was very interesting, fun, personable, professional and knowledgeable. He was waiting for us when we got off the ship. On Christmas Day he met us at our ship and we visited Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, Petrohue Falls, the Osorno Volcano, and Puerto Varas. Miguel was very enthusiastic and engaging and we had lively conversation throughout the trip. He also gave us some time to wander at our leisure, which we enjoyed.

We're so glad we took this private tour instead of doing the bus excursion through the cruise line. Miguel is very personable and full of a lot of info. He made our day very enjoyable. We learned so much more than just listening to a narrative on a bus. Miguel is a fun guy and very down to earth.
