Born and raised in Sarajevo, I spent years living across Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, and South Africa — building a career with international companies and collecting perspectives along the way. When I returned home in 2021, I saw Bosnia the way a traveler would, but with the knowledge only a local can have. What struck me wasn't just the landscapes or the history — it was how much of it the world was simply missing out on. That's what drives me as a guide. I bring deep knowledge of Bosnian and world history, politics, and culture, but my real superpower is storytelling — turning facts into moments that actually stay with you long after you've left. I lead city walks, road trips, village visits, and nature hikes, but where I truly come alive is in the food, drink, and coffee culture that makes Bosnia unlike anywhere else: a perfectly brewed Bosnian coffee with no agenda, a glass of rakija poured by someone's grandmother, a wine from a vineyard most tourists will never find on a map. What my guests tell me most often is that traveling with me feels like having a local friend — someone who knows the hidden gems, knows the country like the back of his hand, and actually cares that you leave with something real. That's exactly what I aim to give every single person I guide.

We drive to the sleepy village of Umoljani, where a local legend of a dragon that once terrorized the valley sets the tone for the day. From there, our hike takes us through the highlands of Bjelašnica, along Studeni Potok and beneath the slopes of Obalj mountain. We follow the edge of Rakitnica Canyon — the second deepest in Europe — with panoramic views of Visočica accompanying us the whole way. After around 2.5 hours of hiking, we reach Lukomir: one of Bosnia's most isolated mountain villages, where only 17 families live semi-nomadically, spending summers here before descending for winter. We'll stroll the stone-paved streets, visit the village mosque and the medieval tombstones of the Bosnian Kingdom, and sit down together for a homemade lunch at the top of the world. The return follows the same panoramic trail back to Umoljani, before the 1.5-hour drive back to Sarajevo.
