Hi, my name is Peter and I was born and raised in Flanders (fields) Belgium. I am a professional private guide and driver in Belgium since 2014 and was a NCO (1th Sgt) in the Belgian Army/Airborne and for 20 years in the Army reserve. After my active duty, I was a salesman and worked in France and Germany. I am fascinated by military history combined with my collection of military vehicles and armory. In 2014 I started guiding. Drive to Waterloo and visit • The 1815 Memorial Museum with panorama and a climb of the mound • Hougoumont Farm • Lunch • Napoleon's last headquarters • Drive through the village of Plancenoit • Drive past the barn La Belle Alliance where Blucher and Wellington met after the battle • Mont Saint Jean Farm, Wellington's field hospital • The Wellington Museum You are brought back to the cruise terminal of Zeebrugge or Antwerp or to your hotel in Brussels or in a radius of 100 kms (60 miles) of Brussels.
