A total Belgium experience! Enjoy the magnificent Bruges medieval city centre, taste its delicious chocolate and visit a superb WW2 museum. A stimulating and realistic way to depict the difficult period of the Second World War with an amazing installation about mines in the North Atlantic sea. The museum is outside Bruges. So we use a van to go from port of Zeebrugge to the city centre, then to the museum and afterwards I bring you back on time to the cruise terminal. The walking tour takes around 2'5 - 3 hours, depending on what you want to visit. It includes the visit to an artisanal shop where we learn about the history of cocoa in Belgium, with a delicious small chocolate tasting.
1. Walking tour. I show you the most beautiful part of Bruges. We get into its history walking across the cobbled stone alleys, the romantic canals, the amazing medieval squares, the beautiful buildings. . . We enjoy the famous Belgian chocolate. 2. Then we go by car to visit in Knokke an amazing museum about World War 2. It's a hidden gem, a superb WW2 museum that submerges us in the darkest days of Belgian occupation with an amazing installation about the North Atlantic sea and the mines. In the way to the museum we will pass by different old mills, the beautiful village of Damme (medieval harbour of Bruges for centuries) and we enjoy the beautiful vistas of the Flemish countryside. 3. I bring you back on time to the cruise terminal. Please contact me for a customized tour.
