Medieval Bruges Experience (from Brussels)

Originally from Long Island, New York, I came to Belgium in September, 2000, to study philosophy at the University of Leuven, just outside Brussels. I thought I would be here for just one year, and somehow 26 years have already gone by. I fell in love with Brussels and Belgium for so many reasons, the friendly people, the natural beauty, and its location right in the heart of Europe. I love how international Brussels is, and how it has been a European crossroads for centuries, yet at the same time it is also dynamic and modern. There is a real connection with the past here and you feel it all everywhere in the city and its surrounding landscapes. For over 15 years, I’ve been leading tours not only in Brussels, but to rest of Belgium as well: to Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, Liège and even to the Abbeys in the Ardennes hills, where monks have been making Trappist beers for centuries. I always try to adapt my tours as much as possible to my clients needs and interests.
