Born and bred in Buenos Aires 50 years ago, I grew up between Buenos Aires City and Tigre Delta (where my family run a farm). I had a lovely childhood, listening and dancing "Tango" when I was in the city, and stories about "gauchos" when I was at the farm. In my adolescence I discovered my passion for the mountains and I was a climber for a long time. Taking into account this background…what else could be more than a Tour guide (which brought me many problems with my father who wanted a Lawyer son :) :). I love traveling, I'm a seasoned traveler (I've traveled to more than 40 countries), which allows me to understand your expectations and to organize the best time for you, because I'm on both sides (Traveler and Tour Guide). I have been working as a Tour Guide for 25 years, I know very well not only every hidden place of the city but also the "idiosyncrasy" of my people and I would like to share all my knowledge with you, introducing you to our history and culture, telling you amazing stories (such as how the Criminal Nazi, Adolf Eichmann was found and caught in Buenos Aires, or why Evita Peron's corps is embalmed). Overview of your Buenos Aires tour

No better way to learn about a country than form a local!, I'm not an "Economist", "Historian" or "Sociologist", I'm just a Tour Guide who was born, raised and lived all his life in this Buenos Aires and who knows the city, its secrets, its people and its customs and traditions like few others!. I went to the school during the dictatorship time, I suffered the economic ups and downs, but I still wake up every morning and work hard to make ARGENTINA GREAT AGAIN! I couldn't imagine a better way to spend two days in Buenos Aires. Andres was the perfect guide. We were headed on an Antarctic Cruise and spent a few days in BA beforehand and booked the BA Highlights Tour. After booking, Andres provided a lot of information to us, and we ended up adding another day for the Tiger Delta with him. So glad we did! He even recommended a Tango show that we booked, and it was great too. He knows the city so well, and I highly recommend him to everyone headed to BA!

Andres is not only informative and well versed in the fascinating history of BA but also a real laugh and all round top bloke. If you're coming through BA and want to learn about the city, its history, people and traditions i cannot think of a better man to tour with. He has a great sense of humour and really helped us get a complete understanding of this wonderful city.

It was great to have Andres Miguel as our tour guide for the Buenos Aires city tour. He is extremely knowledgeable, very well documented and he does research about the subjects he is talking about, so his information is as accurate as possible. He is very nice, kind and funny person. He deserves more then 5 stars. He arrived earlier, he adjusted the schedule to fit our needs and requests. Your Buenos Aires tour itinerary

After picking you up we will drive to Plaza de Mayo where we leave the car in a parking and we walk a little while I will explain about all the buildings around (Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, Cabildo, National Bank). Then we will visit Puerto Madero, the place dedicate to the women. Third stop, La Boca and Caminito, you will see the colorful houses and will learn about Tango Music. at the middle of the tour we will stop in San Telmo and you have the opportunity to try local food. The last stop is Recoleta and we will visit the famous Cemetery where Evita Peron is buried This itinerary is indicative, since the tour is private we can customize the itinerary according to your preferences - WEATHER, TRAFFIC.
