Overview of your Buenos Aires tour
Buenos Aires is very well known for its street art, both Fodor's and the Huffington Post, listed it as one of the top cities in the world to see urban art. We will visit the neighborhoods of La Boca and Barracas both of them in the south area of the city. Besides their colorful houses, giant murals - often politically inspired - adorn private and public buildings. In Barracas will also be very interesting to see the longest mural in the world, painted by a single artist. It is call "The returning of Quinquela". The 2, 000 square meter masterpiece, the work of artist Alfredo Segatori. We will also see in barracks the fronts of the houses intervened with paint and mosaics. I was born in the barracas neighborhood and spent my childhood also in La Boca, I know very closely the problems, beliefs and struggles represented on these walls and I would like to share all this with you. !
