** I'M FULLY VACCINATED** Welcome to the Buenos Aires, the city of the Tango!. My name is Mirta. I'm 100% "Porteña"!. I was born and grew up in Buenos Aires and I love my city and its people!. For 30 years I have been working as a teacher in an elementary school, I'm retired now, but I still keep working as a Tour Guide. I'm a quiet person and I like to organize relaxed tours, no rushed, taking our time in each stop, enjoying the day. I love Tango Music, I'm a tango dancer and tango teacher, I go to dance twice a week. I love the history of this of this city, called "The Paris of South America", cradle of writers, musician, soccer players and artists. Buenos Aires is surrounded by a "halo" of mystery. I would like to take you to lead you in Buenos Aires, taking you to explore every single corner, telling you every single story and admiring every single iconic place. I like to provide you a complete introduction to our history, but I also like to share with you my favorite places (not necessary touristic places), to test "empanadas" in my favorite restaurant, to see street art and to listen local music…in other words, to share with you a day immersed in our culture. After a tour you will understand better the "idiosyncrasy" of the argentines. - National Tour Guide - English teacher - Elementary teacher I am not a driver. I arrange for a private car and driver.

It is a comprehensive tour which provides you a complete introduction to Buenos Aires. The tour is 4 hours long, using a private car, visiting the "must see" of the city: La Boca and Caminito, Plaza de Mayo and Recoleta Cemetery. We stop several times and we can walk a little around exploring the areas (not long distances). Along the tour I will provide an introduction to our history and culture. It is good options for those who will be in Buenos Aires for few ours and want to know the city.
Nice 4 hour tour
A fantastic way to see the city.
Mirta was terrific. We got a great introduction to the most interesting neighborhoods of BA. Mirta has a real appreciation for…and passion for … the history of the place. The rest of our time here will be far more productive because of her thoughtful introduction.
Our guide Mirta was magnificent — she was knowledgeable, personable, enthusiastic and fun. We had only an afternoon to get a sense of Buenos Aires, and with Mirta's guidance we felt we achieved that. Even though the tour was presented with unusual road blocks due to a football game and carnival, we nonetheless saw everything plus more. We left BA knowing we had to come back!
This was an excellent 4Hr tour of BA. Very flexible to meet our needs. Guide with driver allowed guides full attention to our understanding and questions. Driver was able to pick us up after brief walks so we were never waiting. Perfect for our arrival day in BA for cruise embarkation following day.
Mirta was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and experienced. We highly recommend Mira and Tours by Locals. We can now say that we have experienced Buenos Aires.
