In this 3-hour food tour you will experience a great palate of Argentine culture while walking through the streets of Buenos Aires, one of the most wonderful cities in the world! As a local, I will take you through Argentina's most traditional cuisine to learn about its roots, and taste its wonderful flavors. Nothing reminds me more of home than the smell of a good empanada, the smoke of a choripan on the streets, and the taste of an Argentine wine. During tour you will learn about the importance of immigration history and of gaucho culture in shaping the traditional foods that porteños enjoy every day. If you are a food lover and you enjoy discovering new flavors and customs, this tour is for you! Note: this walking tour is available in the areas of San Telmo and Recoleta. Everything can be customized according to your dietary restrictions, so please, do not hesitate to ask!
The itinerary includes: - Start with a cheese plate or a wonderful local empanada from the norther regions of our country and a glass of Argentine wine - Follow the entree with a proper choripan, the most famous street food in Buenos Aires - Indulge yourself with a steak and provoleta (grilled provolone cheese) - Finish with a delicious ice cream and/or a coffee NOTE: The itinerary is flexible and dynamic according to the area of town and the time of the day you choose for this experience.
