Welcome to Buenos Aires! I am Elisabet and I have been a tour guide since 2007. I have provided more than 570 tours for ToursByLocals since 2011. I am a local who never gets bored of touring this beautiful city and who is in love with its people, the tango and its interesting European architecture. Not only I love the city but its outskirts as well! The Delta of Tigre is an ideal option to be in the open air. It is such a different spot! People living on these islands live at a completeley different pace than citizens do. They purchase things from grocery boats, ice cream selling boats. If they need medical attention for their pets, a vet comes "of course" by boat. This is because there are no roads or streets that connect the islands to the mainland. You will learn about the inhabitants peculiar lifestyles. This tour is NOT SUITABLE for cruises that leave the same day.
Your Buenos Aires tour itinerary
- Drive towards San Isidro to see the nice houses of the neighbourhood. - Short stop at Puerto de Frutos. - After that we will take a boat and visit the Delta of Tigre. This is a 1 hour boat ride along the different rivers and streams of the Delta. - Lunch at a local place by the river.
