Buenos Aires Walking Tour

Buenos Aires is one of the most vibrant cities in the world. In the city centre, there are plenty of famous spots to see. Most of them are very close, so it is a great idea to walk the streets and learn about the culture of the porteños (as the local people are called). We are passionate people, we give big embraces and we always greet with a kiss. Our tables are always crowded with friends and family and we talk - perhaps sometimes argue - for hours. We express our emotions right away. During the tour, you will discover magnificent buildings and monuments, several of them built by the early 20th century, which was a time when the country was very rich an opulent. We will admire the Congress Building, Confiteria El Molino, Palacio Barolo, Cafe Tortoni, La Prensa, Cabildo, Cathedral, Casa Rosada, and many other Art Nouveau and Art Deco buildings. You will be encouraged to ask as many questions as you want, and I will try to answer all of them.

The itinerary I think it is the most interesting starts from the Congress Building going towards Plaza de Mayo, we walk along Avenida de Mayo. Half way we will find the intersection of Avenida 9 de Julio. We continue on Avenida de Mayo, and at Plaza de Mayo you will have the chance to choose the final part of the tour, going either north or south.
