Hi! I'm Romina, born and raised in Buenos Aires City. I have an eclectic background in arts, design and tourism. I have a degree in Arts Management and another one in Fashion Design. Are you looking to discover the most exciting secrets about art and history in Buenos Aires? I've been working with tourists since 2009 when I started as a museum guide at Muntref Museum of Visual Arts and Muntref Centro de Arte Contemporáneo. I'm a licensed thematic tour guide specialized in art, history and entertainment. Since 2015 I've been working as an official tour guide at the Teatro Colón, which is the most important Opera House in Buenos Aires and also in Latin America. During the low season I work as a Professor in several Universities such as Untref, Universidad de Palermo, Universidad Favaloro and Ott College. I teach different subjects such as Art History, Fashion Communication, Touristic Circuits, Arts and Medicine. I'm a very passionate person and I love what I do. I'm also very curious so I'm always discovering new places to see in Buenos Aires City where I can find a combination of what I enjoy the most: art, history, culture and food. If you want to visit the highlights but also different spotlights in this city, then I'm your guide! Licensed Thematic Tour Guide (art, history & entertainment). Arts Management Degree (Untref University) Fashion Designer Degree (Instituto Roberto Piazza) Magister in Curatorship in Visual Arts (Untref University) Licensed Official Tour Guide at Teatro Colón I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Overview of your Buenos Aires tour

If art, culture and history are your passions, surely Buenos Aires is the city for you, and this is your ideal tour! Buenos Aires is a city with great cultural wealth, inherited to a large extent from European immigration since the end of the 19th century, when Buenos Aires became well known as the Paris of South America. Come with me, Arts Management Graduate with a Master's in Visual Arts Curatorship and let's visit the Recoleta neighbourhood in a unique way! Among the highlights we'll be covering is the National Museum of Fine Arts, where we'll marvel at some of the most exquisite paintings and sculptures of late 19th & early 20th centuries, made by French icons like Rodin, Monet, & renowned Argentinian artists. Besides this museum, we'll also visit the National Museum of Decorative Arts, a French-styled building which stands on the former Errázuriz Alvear Family Palace and combines a wonderful garden full of nature with well crafted sculptures and a French cafe ideal for a delightful coffee break!

Knowledgeable, polite and willing to adjust to our requests. Very hot day, but it was an excellant overall experience. You need to know it is a lot of walking so make sure you are prepared. Easy access to Muesuem and other facilities. Overall my wife and I had an excellant experience.

This tour was fantastic if you are a lover of art and if you enjoy touring a restored palace. I absolutely loved everything we saw and I learned so much. The tour was catered to our interest in art. Romani is so knowledgeable and you can feel her passion for art. If you live art this tour is for you.

We had the most amazing walking tour of Buenos Aires with Romina, who was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a tour rich in history and socio-political context. She also advised us on several other sights we should not miss and as a result, we had an amazing stay in Buenos Aires. We will book with Romina again next time we are in Buenos Aires! Highly recommend her.

Your Buenos Aires tour itinerary

The following itinerary is not set in stone, since we can customize it to your preferences: - Once we've gathered at an arranged spot, we'll proceed to visit the National Museum of Fine Arts (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes). -Please note that luggage is not allowed inside museums. - - Following our visit to the museum, we'll stop by Plaza Francia, a park designed by French architect Charles Thays. - On arrival to this site, we'll enjoy the magnificent view from Avenida Libertador. - Next, we'll continue to the National Museum of Decorative Arts (Museo Nacional Artes Decorativas). - At last, we'll finish the tour with a taste of a French-Argentinian meal at Croque Madame, further experiencing our french influence. If you want, I can recommend other places to visit close to the museum area or we can return to the meeting point.
