Buenos Aires Foodie Walking Tour - San Telmo

Eating and learning, what a beautiful combination! This is my proposal. A perfect blending of tastes and stories to discover the wonders and flavors of Argentine cuisine, I love eating everything and I like to share the secrets that we can find behind every meal. In doing so, we will be unveiling the heart and stomach of the locals, In this tour we will be walking the old streets of San Telmo neighborhood while we discuss local traditions , recipes and culinary rituals , present in Buenos Aires society since a long time ago. Why is the Argentine empanada considered one of the best? Is Argentine beef the best in the world? Would you dare to try odd parts of a cow that, however, are local delicacies? And you can't leave the country without tasting and learning about mate , a local infusion. If you are a curious and brave traveler but , at the same time , you like good quality food, this is the experience for you. Buen provecho y salud!

-We will meet at Mafalda Statue at San Telmo neighborhood . Mafalda is a very famous local comic character. -In a local bar, we will experiment with the ritual of mate, a local infusion, that is more than a tea. The ideal pairing is a local candy, an alfajor with dulce de leche. -In a small local restaurant we will enjoy our delicious empanadas, a regional turnover pasty. -Finally, in a parrilla /steakhouse we will devour the best beef, together with chorizo sausage and a good Malbec wine. And more surprises…only for the curious. Ideal starting time :11AM . On Mondays, most of the restaurants will be closed.
