Most of my tours have been customized according to people´s preferences. Before becoming a Professional Tour Guide I was a Pro Basketball player in Argentina. I think that tenacity of being so dedicated to it showed me the way to spend so many hours reading and searching about my city. Having hundreds of people, families, couples, and heterogeneous groups my focus was always to make them smile, if necessary to cry as well because Buenos Aires is Tango and Buenos Aires is also melancholy, soccer, basketball, Malbec, Asado, Messi, Maradona and Mate. I have traveled my lovely Argentina but also countries such as: Wales, Ireland, Brazil, England, Uruguay, USA, Canada, Spain and Portugal among others. Guillermo Gentile was an EXCELLENT guide. He customized our tour to focus on our areas of interest which were food, views, highlights and culture. Guillermo brought us to many neighborhoods and had deep knowledge of history and landmarks. The customization really made our tour what we wanted. I highly recommend Guillermo for future tours! We had a wonderful time with Guillermo skipping the "normal" tourist stops and focusing on the fantastic local food as we toured the city including empanadas, pizza and the best gelato! While the choripan looked fantastic, we had to save something for next time. For the tour, he had a dedicated driver to deal with the vehicle so he could focus on telling us about the sights we passed. Guillermo was excellent at relaying interesting notes about Argentina and Buenos Aires history and more recent events. In addition to our tour, he also arranged a great driver to transport us from the airport to our hotel. And, he recommended and dropped us off at his favorite tango show, Gala Tango, and made sure we had excellent seats, front row center. While not part of the tour itself, the show, dinner and tango lesson before were all excellent and a great end to the day thanks to his recommendation.
