Hi, and welcome to Buenos Aires! My name is Ana Mariela and I'm a "porteña. " This is the way we locals are called and it means "people from the port, " because the port of Buenos Aires was the most important one in the country for many years. Being a tour guide is not only my profession, it's a passion, a way of living. I've been working as a tour guide doing different kinds of tours in the city, and also in museums, the Recoleta Cemetery and other places for 10 years. I love my city, and that's why I would like you to join me and discover Buenos Aires through its history, architecture, culture, and everything that it has to offer.
