Barbecue & Herding Cattle in the Pampas...

I'm looking for some adventurers for this tour! I will lead you along with an expert gaucho in this fine adventure! Do you want to join this quest? At the ranch I will prepare an amazing Argentine barbecue or "asado" as we call it here! While we enjoy this delicious process, in the middle of the Pampas prairie, we will talk about the gaucho, their history and old ways, still intact. Along with the resemblance to the North American cowboy and other curiosities. Then we'll have the main course - we will herd more than a 100 cows like gauchos and cowboys, used and still do! It's not that hard and it's plenty of fun! So if you want to do something really different, local and memorable. . . let's go for a ride! Since the horses are good and easy, but working horses, not tourist horses, it's required do a bit of experience on horse riding or very good willing for adventure. Been also an activity till 50 years old, for safety reason.

Pick up from your hotel in private car. . . . . . 10:00 am (Suggested. Contact me to arrange another schedule) Once there all I will prepare the barbecue, show you the cuts and the way we do it here, smooth, chill and delicious! While we do so, and enjoy a glass of wine, we talk about the history of the gaucho, how important it was, is and will be for our nation and culture plus a brief & easy going history lesson of Argentina. After some time to relax after lunch, we'll get on the horses, ready to herd approximately 120 animals back to the end of the southwest of the ranch. This will take us around 1 hour and 15 min or 15 min more. Once we hop off, we have a good coffee or Mate (local infusion) and go back to the city with a smile in our faces. * This tour can be customized upon request, please contact me.
