Argentinean cooking + wine tasting

Alex is the best! He took us around San Isidro and was cool about stopping wherever we wanted. He really gave us the time to just enjoy the ride and we never felt rushed. Alex literally knows everything! No matter what topic we brought up, he had something interesting to say. He shared a lot of interesting information about the city too! The food tasting was a highlight, and the family that hosted us was absolutely amazing. Not only was the food incredible, but the time we spent talking with them was just great. Huge thanks to Alex for making it such a special day!

What a delightful day! We had already seen the City sights and Alejandro provided the perfect final day in Buenos Aires. We left the city and went to Tigre where we were able to see the Delta Community. An amazing voyage thru the waterways that make up the Delta. Alejandro is very knowledgeable and provided great insight into this area as well as the history of how things developed. The highlight of the day was the afternoon meal prepared by a local family in their home. From Chorizo to cheese to filet to pork ribs everything was prepared with care and perfectly. The wine pairings were excellent and Alejandro provided detailed information about each wine and the region it came from. The hospitality afforded us by our hosts was personal and outstanding. The only complaint might be that we ate and drank far more than we should have but we could not help ourselves.

We had an amazing day in a warm, family-like atmosphere. Alex and everyone who helps him with the tour were incredibly kind, they made sure we enjoyed every moment and explained each step of what they served. We tasted delicious wines, had an outstanding asado, chatted a lot, learned a lot, and enjoyed a classic Argentine family barbecue in a beautiful garden. Totally worth it!!

Great time with Alex who gave a wonderful city tour with lots of background on the city and the country on the way to our amazing meal. We ate at the lovely home of friends in the suburbs on San Isidro and had excellent Argentinian dishes, drinks and wine. The opportunity to meet a family and hear about their lives, work, schooling while enjoying the sumptuous food on the veranda enjoying all of it! Alex is a great host!

We combined the Tigre & San Isidro city tour + Delta islands boat tour with the Buenos Aires Cooking Experience and added Wine Tasting! We did sightseeing as described in the itinerary and then went on the boat tour. When finished we went to a private house for the cooking experience and wine tasting. We enjoyed being with two families at the private house, and the conversation and discussion were wonderful. This was our second full day with Alex. Would love to have another day touring with him. 5++stars.
