I'm Shalako S., your private tour guide in Montevideo

Guide #9744

Hola! I'm Shalako and if you're looking to book a private tour in Uruguay from a knowledgeable and native born guide you're in the right place! I'm advanced in social studies, with a solid academic and updated cultural backround. I'm also a licenced airplane pilot, and licenced cook. My english is native since I attended a bilingual school at a British Institute and possess the international Proficiency in English exam from Cambridge University. This enabled me to work for Internacional Consultancy Companies and Airlines companies attending passengers before becoming a tour guide on season enjoying the sun with visitors from around the world. Overall I'm proudly born and raised in Uruguay; I feel the city of Montevideo as a part of me. I know and love this place and would love for you to join me on a flexible easy going tour, discovering the stories each corner of Montevideo has to tell us, making the most of your time here to get more than a glimpse of this beautiful country and its people! Looking forward to meeting You! English Professor. Bachelor in Social Anthropology. Professional airplanes pilot. I cannot pick you inside the port but I can meet you in a pre-arranged location just outside the Port and walk to the vehicle.

We enjoyed our easy paced 3 hour tour with Shalako . He shares his love of his country and culture in this tour as he tells the history of the area. He always is willing to answer your questions and help with transactions with the local vendors and gives excellent recommendations for eating in the area.
