Guide #28370
Dear travelers, I am a Licensed tour guide for all the region of Andalucia, and I'm currently working as a self-employed tour guide in Granada. I hold a degree in Art History and I'm specialized in Architecture and Cultural Heritage; I'm also trained in Building Techniques, as an expert in Restoration, and therefore my professional background includes fields as Restoration & Archaeology. But I also do love traveling as well, and I've worked in many different areas in the Tourism Industry, which makes me aware of the importance of a flawless and straightforward customer service. I enjoy solo traveling and I've travelled through Europe with an Interrail Pass twice; I've lived in many different places, including a ten-month stay in the USA during my sophomore year in high school; around two years in Italy learning about restoration, and other two years in the UK working as an archaeologist. I always try to get the most out of what life has to offer. The tours I provide in Granada include the Alhambra & Generalife complex or Walking Tours in different parts of the city as Albayzín & Sacromonte, Cathedral, etc. But let me know which are your particular interests and I will design a bespoke tour especially for you! I'm also a real foodie, as my parents had a lovely family restaurant when I was a teenager and we've always been really interested both in traditional gastronomy and in Nouvelle cuisine, and we love to try all the new restaurants in town! Therefore, I also do Tapas Tours, and I have designed a Vegan/vegetarian Tapas Tour, specially conceived for people with food restrictions who want to enjoy a truly Tapas experience in Granada (something sometimes difficult if you don't know where to go!!). All my Tapas Tours are also adapted for people with mobility issues. . . same as the Alhambra tour (not so easy for the City Tour though, but we can always try to give you the best solution, of course!). And obviously, apart from guiding you around Granada, I can also give you some good advices about the best places to eat and where you can find that perfect & unique souvenir. . . So, if you're coming to Granada, and want to get the most out of it, do not hesitate to contact me!! Marina :) 2008 Master's Degree in Architecture and Cultural Heritage - University of Sevilla. 2005 Bachelor's Degree in Art History - University of Granada. 2004 Building techniques for heritage conservation - Centro Albayzín, Granada. Licensed tour guide for Andalucia, nº1881 Authorized interpreter for the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, nº119 Authorized interpreter for the Picasso Museum in Málaga. None

Marina was an excellent guide - knowledgeable and engaging
Grenada is an amazing city - and the Alhambra is an amazing place - and if you want to see and understand as much as possible, I would highly recommend a tour like this - and having Marina as a guide was especially nice. That said, if we were to do it again, we would do 2 half day tours so that we could spend more time in each "half" when the tour was over. Doing...
This was worth it! Marina is such a knowledgeable source of information who speaks fluent English and has a very professional demeanor. We were a group of 7 from USA and all agreed then she was wonderful! I will recommend her and this tour to my friends in the future!
This was an excellent tour which exceeded our expectations. Marina is an absolutely fantastic guide. She has a wealth of knowledge about the Alhambra, explains things very clearly and was always ready to answer any questions. She was very patient and accommodating with our group of 6, working in rest time for a couple of us who have some mobility issues. She went above...
