We moved to England and 2 years later we ended up in Malaga. When I was young, I was not aware of how fortunate I was to live and grow up in this spot. Now I know, this is my little paradise and I am so lucky to be able to give a taste of the beauty of my region with travellers from all over the world. The capital city of Malaga, the Costa Del Sol and its inland villages have changed considerably since I arrived. Fishermans villages and agricultural lands have progressed into a tourism destination with better infrastructures and much better service. Nonetheless, we still have the essence and the innocence of the old times. It is wonderful to look back acknowledging the past to shape the present of Malaga region. I am an official Tour Guide for Andalusia offering guided tours and excursions. Overview of your Malaga tour
Malaga is a beautiful city of great history and culture; cosmopolitan and active. It is seaworthy and tradition. Let's start this tour discovering Malaga with our five senses at the local indoor market, mingling with the locals, surrounded by colorful stands and with possibilities in tasting some of our local products. A walk through Malaga's modern boulevard "Calle Larios" is a must. The modern merges with the old. This is where my passion starts, while sharing with you the history of our ancient monuments, the XVI Century Cathedral, I Century B. C. Roman Theatre and the XI century Moorish Palatial Fortification. As the city of Picasso's birthplace, we can't miss the house and the square that saw him grow while playing happily. Here you can take a photo with him sitting on a bench waiting for you. If you wish to make a stop, we can visit my favorite Bodega to taste a "sweet Malaga wine" and a "Tapa"!

He was knowledgeable about Malaga, friendly, and easy to spend the day with. He paced the tour comfortably and shared interesting insights about the city along the way. Although the weather during our cruise was not the best and one of our friends had to remain on the ship, David still made the visit very enjoyable. We had a pleasant walk through the old town and even stopped for a nice coffee together, which we appreciated. Overall, David was knowledgeable and friendly and made our visit to Malaga a very pleasant one. Thank you to Mahy as well for arranging everything and making sure we were well taken care of despite the itinerary change.

I wasn't sure what to expect in Malaga. At the end of this tour, Malaga is rapidly becoming one of my favorite places to visit. Mahy's tour was the exact amount of time needed to see the highlights of this amazing city. Her knowledge and professionalism are top notch. This is a walking tour. There are several ways of meeting with me. I can meet you in the city centre. You can walk from the cruise ship port to the city centre which will be about 30min walk. I can meet you at the Cruise Ship Terminal where we can take a taxi to the city centre that would cost you about 10 euros up to 4 people. I can meet you at the Cruise terminal and we can take the free shuttle bus to the city centre.
