A Perfect day in the Alhambra

My husband and I booked “A Perfect Day in the Alhambra” with Asier. He was one of the best tour guides we have ever worked with. He’s friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating . We were taken from the port to Granada by an excellent driver in a comfortable Mercedes sedan. Asier met us at the Alhambra and showed us every part of the complex city and summer palace. During the tour we learned of the history and significance behind each section. Asier is a scholar and he explained history and culture in depth. Following the tour we were transported by the same driver to our ship on time. We highly recommend this tour and guide!

All trip aspects rated highly.At our Malaga hotel our driver picked us up at 8:30 sharp in an ultra clean new Mercedes. He drove us right to the Alhambra parking lot where we met our guide Asier. Our tour began. At various sections you must present your real passport. Asier had reminded us several times to bring it. Unlike others we had no issues. The pace was comfortable and his explanations were beyond any booklet. We noticed this when we approached several areas and he would point out something that no other tourist was looking at. It made the tour more fulfilling. He spoke clearly and enthusiastically. Another convenient aspect is that the driver picked us up at the conclusion of the tour and not the parking lot where we started. This saves a lot of walking. A courteous professional driver was well worth it. In our opinion a tours by local guide to the Alhambra is worth the money.

This tour went smoothly from start to finish. Asier arranged for limo service from our port to Granada where we toured the spectacular El Alhambra. The driver was kind, professional and always on time. Asier paid close attention to every detail and although we did a lot of research before going, we learned new, insightful information from him. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a good listener who welcomes questions. Another plus is his expertise with taking photos. A day we will always treasure!
