At first I worked Accompanying Groups across Europe as well as a Local Tour Guide . These experiences with tourists of various cultures gave me a deeper awareness of the many issues that arise when dealing with a visitor's idea of a "Perfect Tour" …… but, very soon, I drew a passion for the South of Spain , its Art, History and Andalusian Culture . So, I started a new adventure by moving to Malaga City where I now live , a Brilliant city in every sense: Cosmopolitan and friendly , modern and traditional, lively at night and quite during the day and with an average annual temperature of around 20ºC . . . . Here you will view and admire the monumental heritage which Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs have left us , enjoy the beauty of the art in display and then try the exquisite gastronomy while you enjoy a drink on a terrace of a bar. . . Join me on this WALKING TOUR where we will go through the 3. 000 years of history of the City. From Phoenician to Roman and Medieval Málaga to the very Modern 21st Century. We will explore narrow streets , LEARNING about the History of this city I love: ADMIRING the Archeological sites, perhaps you decide to visit one of Malaga Highlights ( Alcazaba Moorish Stronghold, The Eclectic Cathedral , or the Picasso Museum ) . As we spaniars do : we will find a moment to have a rest at one of my favorites, and enjoy a hot chocolate and pastry or a delicious "Tapa" accompanied by a taste of very famous Malaga Wine. Sounds exciting right? Lets capture the Essence of Malaga by DISCOVERING unique traditional places, streets that display art, local traditions; shops that offer hand-made products, and , as a Spaniard would do. At the end of the tour have a rest visiting local shops, or enjoing the very famous Malaga Mediterranean Gastronomy.

Tour Duration . Aprox. 4. 00 hrs This is a walking tour : Malaga is an easy and very Friendly City to be walked. No stairs up and down; No traffic around ( Most part of the Historical centre is Pedestrian ). We will view: *The Roman Theatre ( 2. 000 years remains ) *The Middle Age Fortress ; *The Picasso Museum ; *The Eclectic Majestic Cathedral *Time permiting , we will visit the Traditional Food Market of Atarazanas ( Closed on Sundays and Local Festivities ) ) Certainly, we will find the time for a break and taste a hot chocolate with a sweet or a Malaga wine with the typical tapa. We will visit the Museums / Monuments of your choice : *The Alcazaba Fortress ( XIII - XIV Cent. ) ; *The Cathedral ( XVI - XVIII Cent. ). . or perhaps *Follow the Pablo Picasso Steps in the city he was born .
