Granada was the capital of the last kingdom of Al-Andalus. I will explain you how the Islamic heritage is clearly recognized thanks to its architecture, traditions, gastronomy, . . . I will be also your key in the exotic and mysterious Alhambra. On another hand, I will show you how it would become a very important city for Christendom. To the point that the Catholic Monarchs chose it as the last resting place and ordered to build a magnificent Gothic temple for burial like is the Royal Chapel. There you will interpretate the glorious temple with its main altarpice, doorway, Renaissance crypt, museum with personal royal trousseau, . . . by the hand of an expert. On this tour, I propose to visit the amazing Alhambra and Generalife, the magnificent Royal Chapel and the labyrinthine streets of the foundational Albayzin neighborhood, that is considered World Heritage Site, with its typical houses ("Carmenes") and its viewpoints with overlooking. An ideal tour would be starting in the Alhambra and then visiting the city center. - Go trip from Malaga to Granada (1.5 hour) - Arrival at the parking of the Alhambra where I will meet you. - We will visit the impressive Alhambra (3h) with all its places such as: *Nazari palaces, *Alcazaba, *Medina, *Palace of Charles V and *The Gardens and Palace of the Generalife (3 hours) - Very peaceful walk downhill through the forest that surrounds the Alhambra (15 min) - Free time for lunch or shopping (1hour) In the second part of the tour (2h): - We will visit the surroundings of the Darro River and low Albayzin.
