Alhambra and Granada Highlights. Shore excursion from Malaga

Jose did a great job! He is very knowledgeable, interesting and caring. Getting to see beautiful Albayzin was a highlight, and walking the winding streets was a lot of fun. Of course, The Alhambra is amazing beyond words!

A visit to the Alhambra is a must. Jose was an exceptional guide. We had arrived in little delay due to a mixup as where to meet the driver. The ride to and from was comfortable and smooth. Alhambra was stunning. What a testament to a time long ago. We had to buy our own tickets and that can be a bit confusing but all was good. The palace is massive and some of party weren’t interested in walking to town so we got a cab. Once in town we went to the cathedrals. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day but there were many schools visiting too. Sometimes it was difficult for all of us to hear Jose. Jose very extremely knowledgeable about the history and importance of the Alhambra. He is a true local and very proud of his home.

A very detailed tour Jose showed us and explained in detail inscriptions in buildings and walls that we would never have realized what we were seeing. Great tour. Highly recommend. Jose was wonderful and his love for Alhambra and Granada is reflected in his tour

Jose was Phenomenal in helping us out with a family member that had to go to the hospital for a ruptured appendix......Jose stayed with us and worked with all the local connections for non Spanish speakers. HIGHLY recommend him.

Jose is a true gem of a guide. Just hire him now before he is booked.. He took us through Grenada with local knowledge and enthusiasm. We ended up at a fantastic local tapas restaurant he frequents. And it was spectacular. Then up to the Alhambra. Where his knowledge and passion were very helpful to us as first time visitors. He also modified the tour to handle one of our groups more limited mobility. All said, he and the tour are 10 of the 10 . Must see.

Jose was a wealth of knowledge! We totally enjoyed our tour of the Alhambra and lunch at a local,restaurant. He has a good personaluty and great sense of humor. He made the most of our time and accommodated all of our requests. The transportation from Malaga to Granada was perfect. He communicated well with us and instructed and provided the correct linkus to buy the tickets for thr Alhambrabefore coming on the trip. El almuerzo en un restaurante local fue muy bueno. El transporte proporcionado del puerto de Malaga a Granada fue perafecto.
