Alhambra and the city of Granada in a Private tour

This was a walking tour through the Alhambra UNESCO World Heritage site with tour guide Blanca. It included collection from our ship at the port of Malaga, delivery to the Palace and return to the port. Blanca was an engaging, passionate and knowledgeable guide who has an intimate understanding of the site's history and culture. She also went above and beyond by helping us with a lunch reservation as well as arranging transport to the restaurant and liaising with our driver. Excellent excursion. Highly recommended.

I took the tour of Alhambra with Blanca. She was so knowledgeable and interesting. She has a degree in philosophy of religion. She explained the religious history of the Muslims, Jews, and Christians involved in the construction and maintenance of the Alhambra. It was so compelling learning how all religions are so amazingly similar. Blanca was friendly, informative and a pleasure to be with. I really enjoyed her enthusiasm. I felt like I was with an old friend. And Blanca’s storytelling recreated how it was 700 years ago, how people lived and how the various kingdoms interacted. I love history and Blanca was so interesting to listen to and discuss the region’s history. Truly an enjoyable and educational experience. The time passed so quickly which to me is the sign of an interesting guide. Blanca was just great. I highly recommend her as a tour guide

What a terrific tour! Our driver met us promptly at the port; communication between our drivers ( one to Alhambra and one on the return to the port) was well coordinated. From beginning to end, Blanca's loving personality, enthusiasm for guiding, and profound, detailed knowledge of the Alhambra and history made this tour a highlight of our Spain travels. If a 6 star rating were available, we'd give it to Blanca- she is that awesome!

We only had one short day to visit Granada and the Alhambra, and Blanca did a great job helping us make the most of our day. Then, when I left my cell phone in the cab like a dummy, she tracked it down for me in short order. Great tour and she saved the day!

Fanatstic cruise ship tour excursion from Malaga to tour the Alhambra! She arranged a seamless and timely pickup, we arrived at the Palace and was very knwoeldgeable explaining the history architecture and art work. We had a fabulous day and she even was able to get a visit in to a beautiful outlook and the silk markets! We had a wonderful day! Highly recommend!
