Nice to meet you! My name is Ugne, and in Lithuanian it literally means fire. I have a degree in Linguistics and really like languages. I'd like to teach you a few words in Lithuanian - the mother of European tongues! One of my hobbies is exploring my beautiful city Vilnius. I'm interested in history and architecture, and I know not only the highlights but a lot of hidden gems as well! I also know how important it is to eat delicious local food while visiting new lands. Don't worry, I'll have you covered - I'm a foodie myself. I'm 30 years old. I've got an official state guide license certifying my knowledge of Lithuania and I've been doing guided tours for over 6 years. I'm also an experienced driver and can take you places in my comfortable, airconditioned Volvo. I'm actually really excited to meet you so let me know if you're thinking of visiting Lithuania and we will arrange the best trip ever. I sent some very special requests to Unge before our tour. Some were very esoteric such as a bakery that offered a special Lithuanian pastry and usually only available during special holiday, She found one off the beaten path (little a dirt road off a Main Street) and I found exactly what I was looking for. Ugne was a fabulous tour guide and made the tour a real joy. We have a daughter her age which reminds us of her, a very articulate individual full of energy and fun to be around.
