Ichi-san guided us for two days across Osaka and Kyoto, and he's hands down one of the best guides we've ever had. His historical knowledge runs deep, but what really set him apart was how much he adapted everything to us. We're walkers, so he rebuilt the itinerary around that instead of just running us through a standard route. He also taught us how to navigate the...

Hello Ethan-san, Thank you very much for your overwhelming comments. I thought you are a very nice family, and I too enjoyed spending two days with you very much. I thought your daughter was very independent at her age. I just hope this world will be kind enough to give her what she would like to get out of. Glad to know you enjoyed your trip in China, and now you...
Ichi was more than a great guide, he truly finished our trip on the highest level possible. We had a lot of great guides on this trip. We made a lot of friends. Ichi is everything you can want in a guide. He was early to pick us up and made sure we had a great time all day. He helped get us to dinner and provided support to make our train. He was continually altering our...

Dear Chris-san, Thank you very much for your overwhelming comments on the tour. I didn’t do anything special on the day. I was slightly worried your son was not having fun, so I was glad when his eyes started to shine when I took him to used camera shop(Camera no Naniwa in Namba) and Yodobashi Camera in Umeda. When we were alone together at Yodobashi, he told me a lot...
We spent two days with Ichi in Kyoto and Osaka, while stopped at Osake on a Celebrity Cruise on the Millenium. We saw so much and had a great time with him. His English is excellent and his love for his country was evident. He even taught us some Japanese while on the train. I can't recommend him enough. We feel like we have a friend in Osaka!

Hello Angela and Ed, Thank you very much for your comments. I’m glad to know your daughter liked the Daikin T-shirt. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise trip in Japan and Korea. (I am sorry I couldn’t reply for a long time as my account was put on hold by toursbylocals.) best regards, Ichi
We had the BEST time with Toichi—aka “Ichi-san” (our nickname for him 😊). From day one, he came in fully prepared with maps and a binder full of illustrations, super knowledgeable, and just easy to vibe with. He didn’t give us a cookie-cutter tour—he really paid attention to what we liked and tailored everything to fit us, which made the whole experience feel personal...
