My name is Pietro. With me you will know the authentic meaning of the places you want to visit in Sicily, I will reveal all aspects of them with passion, by explaining their past and showing details and suggestions that you can hardly see by yourself.

I've been a guide since 1998, and I love my job because I can open my cultural identity to others by communicating and enjoying together flavors and landscapes of my country. As an expert of natural and cultural heritage, I worked for UNESCO on management plans Sicilian sites of the World Heritage List.

Through my "patriotic and nice" eyes you will discover one of the most beautiful region of the world. Sicily is a unique historical crossroad, very rich in ancient treasures, rare expression of art and local traditions. My wonderful island of the sun also offers delicacies of one of the richest cooking tradition of the world, high quality wines and the opportunity to enjoy "la bella vita" as Sicilians do!

Palermo is a lively city, full of pedestrian areas and colored markets. Recently declared a part of World heritage list, it has always been an harbour characterized by a multi-ethnic society, giving birth to the unique Arab Norman Byzantine style.

I will customize my tours according to your preferences and desires. In case we need the car to reach sites, it will not charged, since I need it just as you do.  I get professional drive license (KB), registration (CAP) and assurance.

In the past a lot of souther persons were compelled to leave their country mostly to find better social and economical conditions of life. Really an huge number of sicilians left their towns to look for a luckier future. It will be a pleasure for me to support who wants to visit the towns where his ancestors come from. This is not an already structered tour. I will contact the local city town demographical department asking for the certificate of birth of the person you are looking for. If the city hall demographical department will find in the registers the dates you sent me, we may plan to get the official certification of birth and to see your ancestors' house.
In Altavilla we will visit the main church and its unusual and interesting museum of ex voto. From the square in front of the main church we will enjoy a beautiful cost view. In Casteldaccia we will walk in the main road reaching the most central square and the main church.
Getting back to Palermo we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the capital.

C. , the city was conquered by Arabs in 831, a period of immense prosperity commenced, and reached the climax in the 12th centuries.

Driving and walking through the city you will be enchanted by boulevards and squares, traditional Sicilian Old Quarter, and baroque churches and palaces. Afterwards you will be driven to Monreale to discover the Arab-Norman splendor of the Cathedral, that shows the diverse architectural influences of both the Normans and of the Arab population.

The day will be dedicated to Trapani and Erice, two fascinating ancient towns. Trapani is a narrow town strecthed between two seas: the Tyrrhenian to the North , the Mediterranean to the South. With beautiful fortifications and towers, the city is enriched by several barocco style churches. The town sourroundings are characterized by salt pans. An unique sicilian landscape with wind mills and shallow waters in spring and autumn full of migrants birds like flamingos.
Erice is a little mediovel town. It's a stone garden located on top of Mountain St. Giuliano. From the area of the norman castle you will enjoy one of the best sicilian view.
