Erice was wonderful, but i was disappointed not to have had a better tour of the salt flats and a visit to the salt museum. Not very knowledgeable about the history of salt in Trapani.

September 2026Sorry to read this. I would like to remind you that the salt museum was not on the schedule and you never asked for it. As a matter of fact, originally you requested to take an aperitif at the salt pans, but then you were too tired and preferred to skip it. I’m obviously not happy with this rating, because your opinion isn’t correct.

Mimmo is extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture and current things on Sicily. He is very reliable and plans the tours well. He has a comfortable car. He is flexible about what customers want to see and do. English is excellent.

This was a terrific tour. The pace was just right as was the level of detail. Mimmo is a super likeable and charming guy. His knowledge of Sicily past and present is prodigious. His interpretation of what we saw at Agrigento was very clear. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Mimmo is a great guide for western Sicily. He took us on a full-day private tour in November 2025. We visited Selinunte and Segesta and had lunch at a nice local restaurant that he suggested.
