Bonjour, my name is Michael and I'm a fun university English professor who fell in love with Paris. I've been in France for 12 years. When I first arrived from my native Jamaica, France was a culture shock. It's true it can be hard sometimes to navigate and waiters can be rude and it took me a while to understand the codes, but now I consider myself 100% French and would love to share my experience with you as we explore this beautiful city together. Not only do I want to take you to the famous sights and help you take the best possible photos, but I will also take you to lesser-known neighborhoods with beautiful markets, bakeries, and cheese shops. I'll share my favorite addresses with you as well: crêpes, macaroons, and everything sweet the city has to offer! I will guide you through the most essential historical and architectural sights, so you get some context, but without this being a boring class. Expect my tours to be fun, dynamic, and interactive.
