Immerse yourself in New England's colonial history on this five-hour driving tour where you will see the sights and hear the stories of Boston's colonial past then retrace Paul Revere's famous ride to Lexington, where the British regulars had their first skirmish with local militia, then on to the Old North Bridge in Concord, the site of the "shot heard 'round the world. " You'll see the sights and hear the stories of the Boston Massacre, the Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill and see Paul Revere's house, the Old North Church and Old Ironsides. A formal lunch at Concord's historic Colonial Inn or an informal picnic can be planned. Time and interest permitting, we may also visit Louisa May Alcott's house, Walden Pond or, for something completely different, the Walter Gropius House in nearby Lincoln. (This five hour tour may be extended to six hours to accommodate a meal break. please ask for pricing information)

This tour will begin at your air, train or bus terminal and take you past the most interesting and historically significant sites in Boston including the Paul Revere House, Old North Church, the USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Battle Monument, Faneuil Hall, the Old State House, the King's Chapel, the Granary Burial Ground, Boston Common, Old South Meeting House, and Tea Party site. From there, we'll head north to Lexington, and the Buckman Tavern, Hancock-Clarke house, then on to the Paul Revere capture site, the Minute Man National Historic Park and the North Bridge in Concord. Concord is also the seat of the transcendentalist movement and, time and interest permitting, we can visit the Alcott and Hawthorne and Emerson house and Thoreau's Walden Pond. A Recent Review of this tour

Peter was great! This is the second tour that my family has taken with him. He knows the city very well and has a lot of knowledge about all sights in and around Boston. Lexington and Concord was a tour that both of my 9 and 11 year old sons enjoyed. Thank you Peter and maybe we will see you next year for another tour.
