Hello and welcome to my beautiful country of Croatia! My name is Mirko and I come from the southern part of our coastline, amazing Dalmatia region, famous for its natural beauties and cultural heritage. Sibenik is my hometown, hidden gem between bigger cites Zadar and Split, which both are just one hours driving distance. Very close are also two national parks, hundreds of islands, clean rivers, the highest mountain in Croatia and five Unesco world heritage sites. Together they create ideal scenery for a perfect vacation. I have been a tour guide since 2010 and completely devoted to this call. I speak fluent English and Spanish language and in the last nine years I have shown my country to thousands of guests from all over the world. I have been working for the big and small tour operators from Croatia, UK, US, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Taiwan. . . I have worked a lot as a private guide in Croatia, and of course I consider all of my guests as VIP guests. To this job led me a stroke of luck. After finishing my studies and work in Zagreb, I spent one year in Spain working in a hotel in San Sebastian. There I realized that tourism is my call of destiny since I like traveling, meeting other cultures, languages, gastronomy, history. . . and the most important working with people! From that moment on I am very happy person because my passion is my job :) After, I also worked in an incoming travel agency for several years and for five years also as private driver guide in Croatia. Therefore I have been guiding and organizing tours, creating customized itineraries for individuals and small groups all around Croatia and abroad. For this I also recently purchased new van Opel Vivaro 8+1 seats, you can see the photos in my profile. But of course if preferred I can organize another car or van. Medjugorje is the one of the world famous pilgrimage sites. After Lourdes in France and Fatima in Portugal, it is the third biggest in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It is a place where my family goes since I was a kid so I know it very well and I want to show you all the relevant places where you can easier find necessary inner peace to achieve the goal of your pilgrimage. We will explore and visit all the most important sites: St James church, apparition hill, blue cross where the seers still have their apparition, amazing statue of Christ crucifix and other interesting places. After free time and time for lunch, we will head back to Split. If you want, we can do a short city tour of Split, no change in price.

This is orientation itinerary with approximate duration of each step. Of course details can be changed regarding your preferences. - 1 h 30 min - Drive from Split to Medjugorje. On the way we pass the border and enter to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Please have your passports with you, or your ID card if you are from EU. - During our drive I will tell you interesting facts about Croatia and Bosnia and get you closer to our culture and everyday way of life. - 2 h - We will explore and visit all the most important sites: St James church, apparition hill, blue cross where the seers still have their apparition, amazing statue of Christ crucifix and other interesting places. - 2 h - Free time to enjoy on your own, to go to mass, confession, buy unique local souvenirs or even climb the apparition hill. Of course free time for lunch. I can recommend you some nice places. 1 h 30 Minutes - Drive back to Split 1 h - optional city tour of Split
