Overview of your Ho Chi Minh City tour
The Tunnels of Cu Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district, about 60km northwest of Saigon. Cu Chi, construction on the intricate grid of tunnels started in 1948 during the war against the French, but lasted over 20 years During the Vietnam War, the Cu Chi Tunnels were an important asset to the Viet Cong. They helped soldiers transport supplies, mount surprise attacks and hide away out of sight. The tunnels were home to soldiers and even contained an air filtration system, hospitals and kitchens. The tunnels are accessed by trap doors camouflaged underneath leaves. The entire system is over 250 km long and up to 12 meters deep, though currently the entirety of the tunnels are not open to tourists You will be curious how to survive in a tiny space under the ground, how to breath with the limited oxygen, how to hide smoke when cooking foods, you can learn all during the trip.

Khang was an excellent guide. He was candid, told great stories, and took us to amazing places. We had him put together this two day tour. He was very flexible in terms of start times and breaks. Cu Chi was amazing and he brought it to life. The Mekong Delta tour was special. We felt really able to see local life and the beauty there. Khang shared a lot about life there, before and today. He also chose a great driver with a clean car and a safe driving style. The same for the boat ride.

A fun and informative experience with Khang. He does a great job throughout the tour specific to the topic of the tunnels and also shares a wealth of knowledge during the entire experience (eg as you drive through the city and out into the country). Tours can start as early as 7am and as late as 2pm. - Meet at your hotel or other place s agreed and finish at your hotel or at your convenient place. - 1. 5 hour journey to Cu Chi district - We will discover facilities used by guerilla fighters during the Vietnam war such as sleeping rooms, meeting bunkers, clinics, kitchens and ventilation. - Try to crawl throught some sections of the tunnel (this is an option, you can skip it as you wish) - Taste steammed tapioca and hot pandan tea - Head back and finish at your home
