A great experience overall. Lee was a wonderful local guide, his love of Vietnam Nam was evident and his personal family history added to the tour information. He has a great sense of humor and showed us both the normal tourist spots and also the real life of Saigons residents.
Lee was one of the hands down best tour guides we have ever had, and we have used Tours By Locals over 30 times. He is knowledgeable, entertaining, and great with kids. His tours were the highlight of our vacation and I would strongly recommend Lee to anyone.
Oh my, where to begin,Lee is awesome. I let Lee know what we wanted to see and do, but more importantly what we did not want to do (tourist trap stuff). He was so so good and perfectly suited for us. He is so knowledgeable about his city and history. He is funny/engaged. He quickly identified that he could kid around with my husband and that added to the comfortable and relaxed feel of the day. His knowledge was transferred to us in the form of stories and casual conversation vs a scripted history lesson.
Lee has been our favorite guide so far. He speaks perfect English and is very funny. He taught us so much about Viet Nam and Saigon. We really enjoyed our day and wished we had more time to explore Viet Nam with Lee as our guide. I can or recommend him enough. We can't wait to visit Viet Nam again and contact Lee to show us the Mekong Delta- his home.
Lee guided us on a full day Saigon tour. We had a wonderful time. Our van was clean and driver excellent. We saw so many things that I need to look at my photos to remember all that we did. And Lee managed all this without us ever feeling rushed. Book this guide-- you won't be disappointed.
