"Xin Chào!" I am Hung from Vietnam. I was born in Mekong River Region and grew up in Dalat City & Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). I am proud of my hometowns of course. First, Mekong River and Delta Region. Such a super green land! Here, we have many kind of tropical fruits inside many gardens, farms, cajuput forests. . . Beside the gardens/farms, we have an amazing river with lots of green narrow water canals. Yep, it is the best place for sampan rowing activities. Second, Dalat is the cool weather round year with the waterfalls, green valleys, flowers farms, coffee and tea farms. . . Best place for relaxing! Last but not least, Ho Chi Minh City - formerly called "Saigon" is a must stop in the South Vietnam. This young and dynamic city has two main areas as the colonial building area and the modern town. About myself, l spent two years studying at the college in Saigon, and another two years abroad. I love travelling so far and visited many countries around the world. I love to learn more about the lifestyle, history, landscape, food and drink. . . then I love to be A LOCAL TOUR GUIDE, as it allows more chance to communicate with international travellers, know more about the world and share my country with all. Hung was an incredible guide. We were looking for out-of-the way experiences and dining. He delivered on both. Some of our sites were selected while in transit. He took us to see typical neighborhoods and a very local dining spot. He was so very knowledgeable of the 60’s through today around the economy, education and political changes through the decades. My group of six are HUGE fans of Hung!
We greatly enjoyed our tour! Our guide was able to tailor our time in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to perfection. We were chauffeured around town in a nice vehicle and saw the many sites we had designated in great comfort. We especially enjoyed our pedicab mini tour through the heart of the city during rush hour. Exhilarating! Our guide even helped us find a pharmacy and interpreted for us when my fiancee felt ill. We highly recommend!
Our tour was absolutely wonderful. We ate at a delicious restaurant, went to a private beautiful park, saw the local landmarks, mauled ourselves postcards, went to the top of a tower and had delicious street foods. The day couldn't have been any more perfect. Our tour guide and driver were both so incredibly kind. We've been traveling for 5 months now and this tour was our favorite one to date on this trip. Couldn't recommend any more highly.
Touring with Hung was a joy. He is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and clearly is very passionate about his vocation and being hospitable. Highlights included an immersive and touching experience in the Lady Temple, his expert narrative as we walked through the history museum, and sampling local cuisine. On top of this, his warmth and sense of humor made for a truly memorable experience. We highly recommend Hung Nguyen!
Hung was the most amazing tour guide. He completely organized and led our personal tours with surprises, authentic experiences and flexibility to our tastes and requirements. He was our guide, interpreter and historian for the Vietnamese culture that broadened our understanding of his culture and country. He introduced us to areas that were outside of the typical tourist stops in Saigon and Nah Trang, local markets, a surprise Rickshaw ride and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We highly recommend Hung.
Hung is an excellent guide, easy to understand , providing a comfortable van with a very skillful driver,explaining what we are seeing, exploring with us the important highlights in a limited time frame, seeking out the off -the- tourist locations, including a genuine Vietnam lunch, and considerate of our slightly limited mobility. He has a good sense of humor, and is very knowledgeable of Saigon and all of Vietnam. We would highly recommend Hung as a guide in this area.
