Sonoma & the Russian River Valley

The region known as the Russian River Valley has a cooler climate, and fog from the Pacific Ocean can lower temperatures by 40 degrees. The valley's "terroir" of fertile, ancient soil, sunshine, sea breeze, river, and fog contribute to producing some of the world's most celebrated Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Although a bit farther afield, You will not find a more stunning way to spend a day than a tour of Healdsburg and the Russian River Valley. The charming town of Healdsburg marries small-town allure with a cosmopolitan flair. This vibrant, picturesque walkable town is framed by the Russian River and rolling vineyards. It's a haven for wine lovers, food connoisseurs, and art enthusiasts with a vibrant and walkable downtown, filled with boutiques, fine dining, and tasting rooms. Having spent school days in San Francisco and summers at our small production winery, this is absolutely one of my favorite regions to take my family and friends when they visit.
