First, by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, you will visit Muir Woods, which is the world's most-visited old-growth redwood forest park, and walking onto trails among these giants is truly an awesome experience. The park receives about a million visitors per year. Then, we will head to the Napa Valley Wine Country and visit the historic Sonoma Plaza, Armstrong Estates, and some wineries located in the Los Carneros region, dividing both Napa and Sonoma Valleys just north of San Francisco. You may customize your itinerary based on your interests and time conditions.
No “sour grapes” on this tour. Wonderful day with Caesar. My wife and I were given so much helpful information about the various wines and wineries we visited on our tour. Caesar was so accommodating and made our day memorable. If you want to really see the Wine Country from the vine to the glass we recommend Caesar. You will be so glad you did , he is outstanding.
This was our 2nd family outing with Caesar as our local guide. This tour is excellent...a great way to get out of the city to visit its beautiful environs. After a brief stop for photos near the GG Bridge we went to Muir Woods. It is beautiful and easy to get around. We could have spent all day there. On our way to Sonoma and Napa counties, Caesar gave us several options to choose for lunch from "fairly quick" to "leisurely meal". We chose The Junction for pizza because we wanted to have a fairly quick stop for lunch. The food was very good and did not take long. We then went on to visit several wineries in Sonoma and Napa. The wineries & the landscapes around them were all beautiful and we were able to take lots of great photos. We chose to do wine tastings at two of them and just walked around the rest. It was a great day, and we heartily recommend Caesar as a local guide.
